Join us for the opening of the newly renovated library. Renovation construction began in the summer of 2011. The renovation will include brand new study rooms, comfortable furniture and natural lighting. The library will be a state-of-the-art facility which will provide unique opportunities for students. A new feature is a 24-hour study space that students will be able to access with a swipe of their ID card. And within this new 24-hour section, there will be an expanded cafe', which will include a Starbucks.

On April 1, 2013, Dr. John M. Anderson became the
14th president of Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his
appointment at Millersville, Dr. Anderson was named the 11th president of
Alfred State College, Alfred, NY, in March 2008. Between 2004 and 2008, he
served as executive vice president and provost at Hartwick College in Oneonta,

Bands, floats, twirlers, Millersville University’s Skully, marchers, civic groups, fire engines and so much more. Be a part of it or watch the award-winning, annual community/University effort as the two-mile parade winds through the Borough of Millersville, ending near the Student Memorial Center. Truly, one of Lancaster County’s largest parades! Questions? Call the Parade Hotline @ 717-871-2213. NOTE: North George Street, Herr Avenue and Landis Avenue will close at 8:45 a.m. for the parade; alternate routes will be posted on October 24. Parade will run approximately 2 hours. After the parade and before the game, head on over to Gordinier for a scrumptious buffet including Caesar salad, chicken corn soup, chicken marsala, marinated flank steak, vegetarian lasagna, green bean almondine, oven roasted potatoes, chocolate chip/sugar cookies, brownies, lemon bars, assorted rolls, assorted soft drinks/iced tea, coffee, water.
