7 pm – Distinguished Lecture in Nursing

Join us for a light reception and lecture entitled "Spite in White: Relational Aggression and Bullying among Nurses" by speaker Cheryl Dellasega, GNP, Ph.D., Professor of humanities at Penn State University College of Medicine and professor of Women's Studies at Penn State University. Sponsored by the Department of Nursing and the Xi Chi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, Inc. Reception begins at 6:00p.m. and lecture begins at 7:00p.m.

Crossgates Golf Course, Millersville

Open to alumni, faculty, staff and friends. There will be a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. and the format of play will be scramble. Fee includes: continental breakfast, greens fee, cart, beverage and snack at the turn, dinner at the new Windoz Grill and prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive and straightest drive.

9 a.m. - Millersville Community Parade, “Wild, Wild West"

Bands, floats, twirlers, Millersville University’s Skully, marchers, civic groups, fire engines and so much more. Be a part of it or watch the award-winning, annual community/University effort as the two-mile parade winds through the Borough of Millersville, ending near the Student Memorial Center. Truly, one of Lancaster County’s largest parades! Questions? Call the Parade Hotline @ 717-871-2213

NOTE: North George Street, Herr Avenue and Landis Avenue will close at 8:45 a.m. for the parade; alternate routes will be posted on October 24. Parade will run approximately 2 hours. Please allow ample time to reach your destination.

Pickup at Ganser Library Parking Lot, W. Frederick St., Millersville

Enjoy a freshly prepared chicken BBQ lunch. Proceeds benefit Marauder Athletics. Preordering is suggested and guarantees meal availability. Dinner includes: 1/2 chicken, chips, applesauce, dessert, pint beverage.

The celebration begins at 11:30 a.m. with an alumni gathering at Pucillo Gymnasium and is immediately followed by a BBQ picnic. Former players will have the opportunity to reminisce and talk with current head coach Mary Fleig about upcoming events. See the Fall Fling for kids/family on Brooks Field and our HOME Football Game!

Newly Remodeled Student Memorial Center Recreation Hall

Shop local arts and crafts booths and relax under the parking garage. Taste a variety of foods provided by a wide selection of food vendors, including crab cakes, burgers, hot dogs, funnel cakes, pretzels, soft kettle corn, french fries and more! Kids, stop by and visit the petting zoo or take a pony ride! Also included: student activity groups hosting games/activities for the whole family.

Come out to the Fall Fling Stage and enjoy the song and dance of the Pocono Native American Intertribal Association which includes flute demonstrations, traditional dance and facts about local Native Americans or enjoy a square dancing demonstration by the Lancaster Square Dancing Association and music by The Lonesome Stragglers. After the parade and before the game, head on over to Gordinier for a scrumptious buffet including Caesar salad, chicken corn soup, chicken marsala, marinated flank steak, vegetarian lasagna, green bean almondine, oven roasted potatoes, chocolate chip/sugar cookies, brownies, lemon bars, assorted rolls, assorted soft drinks/iced tea, coffee, water. This luncheon is sponsored and partially subsidized by the MU Alumni Association.

Alumni who graduated 50 years ago or more (classes of 1960 and before) are invited to a causal afternoon tea to reminisce on "days gone by". The tea will be featuring the classes of 1940, 1945, 1950, 1955 and 1960.

All alumni and their families are invited to to join us immediately following the football game to enjoy a picnic menu which includes pork, chicken and beef as well as picnic fare and lemonade/ice tea. Classes and affinity groups can reserve table in advance to get a group together by contacting the Alumni Services Office. Already signed up to attend: Class of 1961, Class of 1962, Class of 1964, Class of 1965, Class of 1970, Wickers Fraternity. Must have valid ID to drink(beer will be served).

Adults 12 and over $17 per person

Children ages 6-12 $10 per person

Children 5 and under free
