NIAA - ATLANTA CHAPTER
Recognizing that we are the true measure of INROADS success, we commit ourselves to facilitate the network of our members, to promote their personal and professional development and to be a valued resource to the INROADS organization and civic communities. - NIAA Mission
The Atlanta Chapter was established in October 2007 and is rooted in the principle that it is our duty to serve. We are committed to carrying out the objectives of our NIAA Mission Statement, and have created eight standing committees in order to do so. Each committee is designated to focus on enriching the lives of Alumni, INROADS interns, or the community.
Alumni seeking professional development opportunities will find refuge in our Association. Quarterly, we host a minimum of one networking event. And beginning this Fall we will conduct quarterly seminars on topics of interest such as: how to buy your first home, foreclosure investing, stock investing, credit repair, and much more.
Additionally, we are passionate about the professional and educational growth of our interns. Two primary ways we will serve their needs are through assisting the INROADS staff with Leadership Development activities and by providing book and living expenses scholarships. This fall we plan to launch our official NIAA -- Atlanta Chapter Scholarship Fund.
No less is our commitment to giving back to the broader community. During the past holiday season we raised funds and donated to both a Thanksgiving and Christmas charity. Currently, we are seeking to establish relationships with other non-profits, which we will actively promote throughout the year.
I encourage you to share your ideas and get involved. Together we can build a dynamic and enduring Chapter.
