Happy new year!  We have a great schedule of events for Spring 2010! Check the website often to get the latest updates and information.

Calendar of Events

Please remember that we rely on your dues payments and donations to fund scholarships given each year to incoming freshmen along with the internships that we offer each summer in Boston. If you have not already done so, please pay your dues for 2009-2010 or make a donation via the PayPal link below. Dues are $20 for those who have been out of school for less than 5 years and $30 for all others.

Dream Vacation Raffle

Purchase your raffle ticket(s) today for a chance to win one of 8 dream vacations! Raffle tickets are $100 each and only 200 will be sold. The raffle will be drawn on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the President's Reception. Participants do not need to be present to win. Tickets are non-refundable. Proceeds will benefit the HC Club of Greater Boston Scholarship Fund.

The raffle winner will select one of the following trips for two:

On June 9, 1946 Ted Williams is reported to have hit a home run of over 514 ft to right field, a spot now indicated by a lone red seat in a sea of green. Our question today, over 60 years later, is what can physics tell us about that home run? What is reasonable, what is possible, what is likely, and why has nobody ever, even in batting practice, come close to reaching that red seat?

Crusader of the Year Nominations
Do you know a fellow Crusader who should be recognized for his or her contribution to the community?

Each year, the Holy Cross Club of Boston recognizes an outstanding alumnus who has demonstrated long-term commitment to the college and the alumni community and serves as a role model for others to emulate. The individual chosen to receive this award embodies the mission of the college to be a 'man or woman for others'.
