I don't remember my username/password.
I can't find my name in the user records.

I searched for a friend, but his/her information is not up-to-date.
How do I change my contact information?

I don't remember my username/password.

I can't find my name in the user records.

  • Try searching by last name and first initial, without class year.
  • If you are married, search by your maiden name, or name as a student.
  • If your name includes junior, senior or another surname, include the abbreviation as part of last name. (i.e. John Smith Jr. would list the last name as "Smith Jr." with a space, but no comma)
  • If you graduated in the last two semesters, you may not have access to the Celtic Connection because your student account has not been rolled over to alumni in the system. Summer, December and May graduates are usually added to the Celtic Connection in mid-summer. You will receive a mailing with your Alumni Association membership card and Celtic Connection login instructions in the summer following your graduation. To update your contact information in the meantime, e-mail alumni@stthom.edu.
  • If the above suggestions do not help, complete a request.

I don't know my security information.

  • Your security information is your student ID. This can often be found above your address on mailings you receive from the University. It is also included on your Alumni Association membership card and in your myStThom account (if you are a recent graduate).
  • If you still do not know your student ID, click here.

My class year is listed differently than when I remember graduating.
December graduates are often classified with May graduates in the following year. You can change your class year to reflect the class with which you would like to be associated. Click "Online Directory" on the left. Click "View/Update Your Online Directory Listing." In the "Additional Academic" bar, click the "Click to Update" button on the right.

My username/password does not work.

How do I search for a friend?
Click "Online Directory" on the left, and click "Search the Directory." Enter as much information as you have about the alumnus in the Basic Search. You can also try the Advanced Search by clicking the link at the top of the page.

I searched for a friend, but his/her information is not up-to-date.
Unfortunately, the information that appears in the Celtic Connection is the most current information we have for alumni. We rely on alumni to let us know when their contact information or employment has changed. If you are in touch with alumni whose profile is out of date, please encourage them to contact the University or update their Celtic Connection profile.

How do I change my contact information?
Click "Online Directory" on the left. Click "View/Update Your Online Directory Listing." Click the "Click to Update" button on the right side of the heading in which you want to change information. Click "Update" at the bottom of the new page to save changes.

How do I add a photo to my profile?
Click "Online Directory" on the left. Click "View/Update Your Online Directory Listing." Click the "Add a Photo" box on the top right. Click the "Browse" button and select a photo to upload. Type a caption in the optional caption box and click "Upload Photo."

I uploaded a photo, but it has not appeared in my profile yet.
All photos must be approved by an administrator before they appear on the Celtic Connection. Photos are typically approved within one business day. Please check your profile after one business day to see your photo.

I would like to receive the alumni e-newsletter.
You can receive the Alumni Relations e-mail newsletter by entering your current e-mail in the Celtic Connection. Click "Online Directory" on the left. Click "View/Update Your Online Directory Listing." Under the Personal heading, click the "Click to Update" button and add your most current e-mail address. Click "Update" at the bottom of the new page to save changes.
