Lee Lubarsky

Lee Lubarsky (2002) recently accepted a position at Edelman located in New York, NY as Senior Account Executive. Lee was previously employed at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery as Associate. After working for two years for the New York-based strategic communications firm focused on corporate crisis work, Lee has accepted a position working in Edelman's consumer healthcare division. While the work is still PR in nature, Lee is looking forward to the different challenges and opportunities associated with his new position.
Additionally, Lee is happy to share that he married Lauren Roseman this past May. Lee and Lauren first met in the summer of 1996 on a summer trip to Israel and reconnected when he moved to New York City. The couple was married in Roslyn, NY and honeymooned in Turkey and Greece.

Jonathan Vivar
(1993)
Jonathan Vivar (1993) recently accepted a position at CGI Group, Inc. located in New York, NY, as Director of Business Development. Jonathan recently was employed at IBM Corporation as Business Development Executive. In this position, he will be part of the CGI team working towards advancing new business for the NYC business unit.
Jonathan brings a wealth of experience to the CGI team. He has assisted clients with software development, enterprise application deployment, strategic planning and implementation, BPR, procurement management, performance measurement, balanced scorecard, logistics management, and integrated supply chain management. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Temple University and a BBA in International Business & Economics from the George Washington University. Jonathan is married and has a 14 year old daughter from a previous marriage. He is currently expecting a baby boy in January, 2010, with his wife, Kelly, and he shares his home with three dogs and two birds."

Scott Fagan

Scott Fagan (1999) is currently serving in Baghdad, Iraq at the U.S. Embassy with his wife, fellow GW alum Christine Fagan (2001,2006). Scott, recently promoted, is serving as a team leader in the Political-Military section, while Christine is serving in the Refugee/IDP Affairs office. Both recently finished a two and half year assignment in Bogota, Colombia.

Donald Koenig (1984) was recently promoted to Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of Humility of Mary Health Partners in Youngstown, Ohio, after serving 11 years as VP and Assistant General Counsel for Catholic Healthcare Partners, the parent corporation. "As part of the CHP Talent Management process, Don was selected to move into an operational leadership position within the company. Don is lead administrator at one of our largest and most complex hospitals -- St Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, a 500 bed tertiary care teaching and Level I Trauma Center -- while also serving as Chief Operating Officer for a 3-hospital, 3-nursing home, 4,000 employee division of Catholic Healthcare Partners."

Chad Kirkpatrick

Chad Kirkpatrick (1991) was recently appointed Chief Information Officer for the state of Arizona. Chad had been employed at Wells Fargo as VP of Technology. As state CIO, he is responsible for statewide strategic planning, technology oversight, federal stimulus reporting and other technology related initiatives. He has been actively re-engineering government processes to bring best practices, cost-savings and efficiencies to state government. He is married to Candida Torzala Kirkpatrick, BA ’92, who is an adjunct professor for Rio Salado College. Candida wrote and teaches the course for the U.S. Constitution and Arizona Constitution.

Carol Olson Sutor

Carol Olson (1993) accepted a position at Rappahannock Council Against Sexual Assault located in Fredericksburg, VA as Executive Director in 2006. Carol owned a private counseling practice in Richmond, The Creative Arts Space where she practiced art therapy with two partners. Carol previously was employed at Richmond Behavioral Health Authority as a Clinician. "I worked as a therapist for the previous 13 years. I had applied for the Clinical Director position at RCASA but ended up hired as the Executive Director. I was ready for more of a challenge and an environment that would allow more creative freedom. " I maintained my private practice for a year following my move to RCASA but then gave it up to focus more fully on RCASA.

Dana recently was employed at School Nutrition Association as Foundation Vice-President. "After several years working in fund development for the School Nutrition Foundation and assisting in the creation of a Global Child Nutrition Foundation, I decided to take some time off and pursue a passion I have for children's books. We The Peepers is a company focused on making children smile and giggle with the whimsical and creative characters my sister, Sandy Pugh, designed. Our first book, "A Peeper in My Pocket - A Zany Peep at the ABC's" has just been published to rave reviews and our second book "I Say...You Say...A Zany Peep at Opposites" is soon to follow.
