Ways You Can Give

 

There are as many giving opportunities at ENMU as there are avenues of interest for our alumni and friends. Your gift can be designated for scholarships as well as academic, cultural and intercollegiate athletic programs throughout the university. The ENMU Foundation welcomes gifts of all sizes. Unless you request anonymity, we will acknowledge your gift accordingly.

  • Unrestricted Gifts
    A gift without restrictions offers maximum flexibility, ensuring the general excellence of the University. The University Fund consists of all unrestricted gifts.

  • Restricted Gifts
    You may designate a gift for a specific school, department, program or scholarship. For gifts that help the most students directly, the Foundation encourages gifts to the Starter Scholarships     or the Scholarship Fund.

  • Gifts of Cash
    Your outright gift of cash, either in full or on a pledge plan, will provide you with an income-tax deduction based on current tax laws and the amount of your income. Please make your check payable to the ENMU Foundation or     DONATE ONLINE making a secure donation online now.

  • Gifts of Endowment
    Your endowed gift will provide ENMU with income every year in perpetuity. With a minimum contribution of $5,000 you may establish an endowment in the name of your choice, allowing the interest to be used annually.

  • Gifts of Security
    An outright gift of appreciated stock eliminates any capital gains tax and allows you to claim an income-tax deduction based on the full market value of long-term securities, regardless of their original cost.

  • Matching Gifts
    Contact your personnel office to determine if your company has a matching gift program. If so, you may be able to add significantly to the value of your own contribution.

  • Memorials and Tributes
    When someone special in your life marks a time of passage, a gift to the University is a fitting way to honor the occasion and express your sentiments. We will notify the honoree or appropriate family member at your request.

  • Gifts of Real Estate
    You may give ENMU your home, vacation home, farm, ranch or any other dwelling, commercial property or undeveloped land.

  • Gifts in Kind (Tangible Gifts)
    Antiques, paintings, jewelry, equipment and other items of worth make suitable gifts to ENMU.
