WELCOME FROM BARBARA RUTBERG
As Director of Alumni Relations, I’d like to welcome you to the special WECB community pages. We’ve established this area for you in the Emerson online community because we’re certain you’ll have a lot of reminiscences and information to share about your experiences -- past and present. We also believe it will serve as an important forum for building interest in and excitement about the upcoming 60th anniversary celebration.
You may have noticed that the other organizations listed are all Chapters of the Alumni Association. We’ve chosen WECB as the first Emerson organization to establish and maintain its own area. As our “experimental” group, we’ll be watching how you’ll make use of these pages and would like your recommendations for making them as useful and enjoyable as possible.
I’d also like to extend my personal invitation to each of you to attend Alumni Weekend this June 1-3. Each year, in addition to celebrating the reunion year classes – this year those ending in a 2 or 5 – we highlight a group or organization with common interests and encourage them to return to Campus to renew their acquaintances and experience Emerson as it is today.
I hope to greet you in person in June. Until then, I’ll get to know you a bit by visiting you in these pages!
