on your classmates.

information as it becomes available.

Notes Eduardo Abril moved back to Bogota, Colombia
and is enjoying being closer to friends and family. Scott Brause’s software engineering and consulting company, that
he co-founded, Cosairus, will celebrate its 10th anniversary in March. Since
graduation they have moved to larger offices at Midtown’s Atlantic Center
Plaza and plan to continue growth to a new location in July 2009. Lynn Varagona (formerly Taylor) got married in 2008. She presented
the social capital and developing nation research that Ken, David Newman,
Jenny, Sudha and she completed for Dr. J’s class, at three international
conferences. Lynn also spent two years at Conner Partners, and then formed
her own company, LV Global Consulting, LLC, to continue social capital work.
Jenny Trautman left SAP in April 2008 and founded a research partnership
with Rick Thomas. They are exploring cooperative work and supporting technologies.
Guillaume Bailliard welcomed his second daughter, Bridgette, who
was born July 20th. Since Goizueta, Guillaume left General Electric and is
now working for a late-stage Healthcare start-up, Naviscan, as VP of Marketing.
Desiree Maurice and her husband are now proud parents of girl and
boy twins, Avery JoAnn and Asher Turner, born October 10th. Desiree continues
to work at Silverpop and became the Director of Engineering two years ago.
Aysegul Yegin moved from Organon Pharmaceuticals in New Jersey,
to Genentech in San Francisco in April 2008. Ayse works as a Medical Director.
Genentech is among the world's leading biopharmaceutical companies and is
considered the founder of the biotechnology industry. So far she is enjoying
living in San Francisco and exploring the Bay Area. Jeff and Bonnie Akin recently welcomed their third child, Hudson
Bo, on November 11. Alan Seagraves formed Seagraves Capital Advisors, LLC (d.b.a. SeaCap
Advisors), a boutique investment banking, corporate finance and outsourced
corporate development services firm dedicated to working with companies
that are considering mergers, acquisitions, divestitures or raising capital.
Kenneth Lee Jr. moved into a new position at IBM in their Software
Sales division shortly after finishing up the EMBA program. Kenneth is responsible
for managing one of IBM’s five software brands for the Southeast US, Puerto
Rico, and the Caribbean The portfolio of products are in high demand and
include IBM’s enterprise software solutions for Messaging, Collaboration,
Portal technologies and anything Web 2.0 or Mobile. Gustavo Vasconcellos just started his own Consulting Company, FG
Consultoria LTDA, in his home city of Belo Horizonte in Brazil. The company
will focus on the construction industry and support clients in developing
and implementing, amongst other things, financial plans and controls, cost
reduction strategies, and business cases. Gustavo’s wife, Flavia, is working
as a Lawyer for the State Government, and their two children, Gustavo (13yrs),
and Fernanda (10yrs) are at school. Jodi Daniels (formerly Hoffman) recently celebrated her first wedding
anniversary. In October, Jodi transferred from Cox Enterprises' Strategic
Business Development Group to AutoTrader.com. As Senior Manager of Ad Networks,
Jodi is leading the company's new online ad network called AutoTrader.com
Access. Rosalie Collado currently serves as the Marketing Chair for the
Executive Women of Goizueta. George Post is now responsible for all of International Air Freight
Marketing and Strategy at UPS Supply Chain Solutions. Travis and Janel Dutton now have three boys - Grafton Blue (4yrs),
Travis Lee (3yrs), and Rhett (5 mos) and are being kept active with many
trips around the US. Blue starts playing lacrosse this spring! Travis recently
took up a position as an Executive Compensation Consultant in Washington
DC with Principal Financial Group. Janel is working as an Air and Radiation
Management Engineer with the Maryland Department of the Environment. Eli Flint left Bombardier Aerospace in 2008 and joined Flight Options,
an aircraft fractional ownership and charter company in a turn-around situation.
He is working dual roles in strategy and sales as he attempts to redirect
the company in the worst environment for private aviation in 25 years. All
is well with the family and Rory (5yrs) and Ferris (2yrs) are healthy and
wonderful. Andy Abrams has continued in his role as EVP at Servidyne, helping
introduce new services to help his clients save energy and operate efficiently.
At home, he’s supporting the US construction industry on his own, remodeling
the kitchen and adding an in-law suite in the basement. His daughter, Amber,
her husband and his grand-daughter are moving-in so they are soon to be
one, big, happy family! Keith and Lauren McQuaid are still living in Baltimore with their
two children, Teddy (3 ? yrs) and Liam (15mths). Keith is in his
14th year at Black & Decker and is at present, Director of Commercial
Marketing Operations. He ran the New York marathon in November for the second
time and is training for several triathlons in 2009. Fergal Kearns formed Crossing Point Consulting, LLC in 2008, to
design and manage large organizational transformations. A key offering of
Crossing Point is its values-based customer-alignment offer, where Fergal
works with clients to align the client’s customers, customer-facing contacts
and corporate strategy. Fergal did some aligning of his own in 2008, and
married Janet Kim Kearns (Emory, BS97). Tim and Laura Cotter now have a daughter! Carolyn Elizabeth Cotter
was introduced to our world on August 27th, 2008. The family is doing well
and getting used to the new lifestyle. Update
