Welcome to the Alumnae and Women of Emory!
AWE is an alumni group for women and about women. We cater to the interests of Emory alumni and encourage faculty, staff, students, and friends to join a vast array of opportunities through AWE!
Our goal is to increase alumnae involvement and represent all divisions, schools, and classes; whether you graduated in 2008 or 1958! I hope you will find an event that interests you. We have a lot to offer; from writing workshops to hone creative expression to the monthly book club and knitting circle.
We have a great year of activities planned. One highlight in May 2008 is a tea with Emory's top women and the first lady of Emory, Mrs. Debbie Wagner!
As always we welcome your ideas and suggestions. We are always looking for women to participate and help plan upcoming activities. Please join us for our monthly planning meetings on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Miller Ward Alumni House.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Amanda Penn Chair, AWE awe@emory.edu
