Emory Alumni Chapter of Israel

Israel,
Contact Person: Amanda Sue Niskar

Dear Emory Alumni and Friends in Israel:

The Emory Alumni Chapter of Israel (EACI) was formally established in 2006.  However, in 1988, an Emory Alum working at the Israeli Consulate in Atlanta coordinated a successful Emory Alumni Association event at a hotel in Israel.  Approximately 30 Emory Alumni and Friends are known to currently live in Israel.  Family, friends, and colleagues are welcome to attend EACI events to learn about Emory.  If you know other persons affiliated with Emory living in Israel, please inform them of EACI.  For more information or to volunteer to plan events, please contact Dr. Amanda Sue Niskar at asniskar@alum.emory.edu.

 EACI Objectives
1.  Network at social events with Emory Alumni and Friends of Emory living in Israel.
2.  Identify and coordinate opportunities to support Emory University, such as creating summer internships in Israel for Emory students and motivating Israelis to apply to Emory to study or work.
3.  Welcome Emory Alumni and Friends of Emory as visitors to Israel.
4.  Network with other American university alumni chapters in Israel.

Emory Alumni and friends meet for happy hour in Tel Aviv to discuss collaborations between Atlanta and Israel with our guest speakers visiting from Atlanta.
