We had the pleasure of hosting a breakfast in honor of Dr. Stuart Zola, Director of the Yerkes National Primate Research Center, this morning at Accenture's Fenchurch Street offices. Dr. Zola was kind enough to share with our group a bit about the research he is currently conducting and also spoke about the operations and aims of the Yerkes Center.

In November 2005, Emory University held its inaugural meeting of the Europe, Middle East and Africa Board on October 14, 2005 in the Cheyneygates Room in Westminster Abbey. We were especially grateful to Westminster Abbey as the Emory event fell during the week that Westminster celebrated its 1,000 anniversary and there were many commemorative activities planned. The event and its location symbolize the noble endeavor of education and learning -- it was indeed the perfect venue!
This was the first of three meetings with International Advisory Boards established by Emory. The event was followed by a reception that was attended by over 100 people with over a dozen different nationalities represented -- Austria, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Lebanon, Nigeria, Republic of Georgia, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, U.S., Wales.
Bringing people together with different cultural perspectives in such a historic venue is an enriched education at its very best.View pictures of the event below:
