Welcome to the GALA Home Page!
We invite you to check out the webpage and hop you find something here that:
- Attracts you back to campus for a visit with the students of Emory Pride, or the new Director of LGBT Life or to mentor LGBT students;
- Inspires yu to volunteer your time and talent in LGBT interests through GALA (Gay and Lesbian Alumni)
- Intrigues you enough to attend one of our events whether it be a local museum or gallery, yuor favorite bar, or the Alumni House; or
- Moves you to contribute some of your treasure to our Student Leadership Award endowment program...or all of the above!
We want to hear from you about how we can better serve you, howe we can increase your opportunities to reconnect with old friends or make new ones, and how we can help you to engage with your alma mater in a new way. Let us know in particular, if you are interested in working with fellow LGBT alumni, faculty, staff, student, or allies in forming a GALA chapter in your city!

Emory Gay and Lesbian Alumni (GALA)
Mission Statement
Emory GALA is an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, alumni, staff, faculty, friends and allies
GALA serves as a university resource and partner to other LGBT groups, and strives to cultivate social, professional, and intellectual opportunities for the community.
We work together to serve LGBT alumni interests, the university and larger community. GALA celebrates the contributions of Emory's past, present, and future LGBT alumni.
Activities:
GALA hosts a number of programs and special events each year. A schedule of opportunities is available by clicking here.
GALA has groups in Atlanta, Washington D.C. and New York City. If you would like to get involved or start a group in your city please contact gala@emory.edu
