Dear Emory Alumni,
Welcome to the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the Emory Alumni Association. My name is Kathleen Hedrick (Kat) and I graduated from Emory University in 1989. I have many fond memories of my university days at Emory. But after graduating I moved back to Dallas where I was born and have lived ever since.
I would like to welcome everyone to the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the Emory Alumni Association. While we have a small group we have had great turn-out the last three years for Emory Cares, GO Emory Parties and evenings with the Dean and President Waggoner ( I finally remembered it is not Mr. Laney anymore). For 2008 we have already has our first social and have an enthusiastic group of young alumnus who will be working on an event per quarter.
I am honored to be a part of this group and am continuing to appreciate all the support we get from our University and the great opportunities we have to give back. If you are interesting in being involved, please click on my name to email me.
