Baltimore Chapter of Emory Alumni

Dear Emory Alumni,

Welcome to the Baltimore Chapter of Emory Alumni!

My name is Amy Silberman and I graduated from Emory in 1984.  I have many fond memories of the time I spent at Emory. So, ever since I left Emory to return home to Baltimore, I tried to find a way to continue the Emory feeling.  I visited Atlanta/Emory at least once a year, supported Emory financially and kept in touch with friends I met at Emory.

Then, in 2006, the Baltimore Chapter of Emory Alumni was formed.  We held a wine tasting in July 2006, followed by a planning meeting attended by a number of local alumni.  In 2007, two alumni hosted an intimate dinner at their home in Annapolis, Emory?s President Wagner and his wife joined over 70 alums at the Jewish Museum of Maryland and finally, we were thrilled to participate in Emory Cares Day in November 2007!

In 2008, we have planned events that I feel are a great mixture of art, culture, sports, educational lectures, and social gatherings.

I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful group. It is great to meet different people here in Baltimore, knowing that we share the same common bond of Emory University.
