Students can go up only in groups of twenty, so please anticipate a short wait. Please note, this is a "climb," and the elevator will not be in operation. Forever Duke Commencement Kick-off Cocktail Party
Hall of Honor/Hall of Fame/Scharf Hall / 8:00 - 10:00 p.m.
The alumni association is excited to present this inaugural event! We are starting a new tradition to begin Commencement Week a little earlier with a party on Wednesday evening in the Hall of Honor/Hall of Fame/Scharf Hall (Cameron). Themed drinks and wine will be available, along with some fabulous desserts. This will be the perfect time to unwind with your friends before the family arrives! Most importantly, the Duke Alumni Association's gift to the Class of 2009 will be distributed. We highly suggest you arrive on time to make sure you get yours!

Back to East
East Campus / 6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

The Class of 2009 Senior Class Council is hosting "Back to East," a party that has quickly become a commencement tradition. Registration for this event will be available later this month. Spend time with your friends one more time before parents and families arrive for graduation. There will be dinner at the Marketplace, beer, a great band on the quad, and plenty of dancing. We'll end the night with a pub crawl on Main Street. Any interested non-graduating seniors are invited to join the class for music on the East Campus Quad, starting at 8 p.m. Seniors must register and pay a minimal cost to attend the dinner in the Marketplace; registration will be posted to the class when it becomes available. Although you may graduate the morning after this party, we are here to remind you that you are Forever Duke!All graduating students and their families are invited to join the Duke Alumni Association for one last party on the eve of Commencement. The party will be held in the Blue Zone parking lot (first lot on the left as you enter from the student gate). Frosty beverages and snacks will be served all evening.
