PRESIDENT'S
CORNER
 Harold Jensen '87,
President, Villanova University Alumni Association
Congratulations
to the Villanova Men's Basketball Team. They had a great run
this year and I hope you enjoyed the season right through the excitement
of the Sweet 16 Game.
Here are some other notable Villanova
stories:
Did you
know ... So far this season VU
Men's Baseball Team senior Nick Allen and sophomore Kevin Mulvey
have both pitched no-hitters. These games are the first no-hitters for
Villanova Baseball in 41 years. In fact, there have only been 8 no-hitters
in the 125 year VU Baseball history!
...The National Office of Habitat for
Humanity recognized Villanova's Program as having more volunteers than any
other program in the country.
...Villanova
University now includes more than 60 buildings and is recognized as
a national arboretum. Offering many interesting species of florae
and faunae, spring is a great time to take a walk around, and enjoy the
interesting and unique plantings. While you're here, spend the evening
enjoying the stars and night sky in the Public Observatory located in
Mendel - 4th Floor Roof. Open to the university and the public Monday
-Thursday during the Spring Semester, while class is in session. Call
610-519-4824 to check availability of tour. Hours: 8:00 p.m. - 10:00
p.m. There is no charge.
Villanovans have
much to be proud of, with numerous success stories academically and
professionally, through service and athletics we continue to build a great
legacy! Go ‘Cats!
