George Washington University Additional Information
The GW Alumni Online Community, which integrated the GW Harris online community and the GW Office of Alumni Programs website, was launched in late summer 2004. The Online Community's homepage at www.alumni.gwu.edu demonstrates the integration between the Harris-hosted modules and GW-hosted pages. The Harris-hosted registration-required modules are presented under the "Alumni Online Community" section of the left column. The GW-hosted alumni benefits and services information (as well as the Harris-hosted Calendar of Events module) are presented under the "Alumni Programs" and "University Links" headings further down the left column. GW-hosted information about the GW Alumni Association, school-based alumni associations and regional alumni chapters are presented along the top bar.

As part of the integrated web template, GW and Harris designers adopted a common style guide that governs the font size, font type, color scheme, and graphical layout of the information provided within the main text box of each Harris and GW-hosted web page.
