What is TarNation?
The GAA is pleased to introduce an enhancement to our Online Alumni Directory. As of March 29, 2006, registered users of the online community can develop an online network of alumni friends and trusted acquaintances with whom they can easily communicate.

Alumni are encouraged to invite other Carolina alumni who are friends, colleagues and acquaintances to join their TarNation network. As networks are created, users are able to send and receive messages within their network of friends, send and receive event invitations and update personal profile information.

How can I use TarNation?
Reconnect with former roommates, friends from your favorite campus groups or fellow classmates.

GAA members: Invite fellow alumni to join your network, communicate with them by sending e-mail messages and invite them to events in your area. Starting March 29, add friends to your TarNation network.

• Search for fellow alumni in the Alumni Directory.
• Invite them to be your friend. All alumni profiles include an "Invite as a Friend" link. Simply click on that link and your friend will receive a personalized e-mail from you, inviting them to register for the community and become part of your network of friends.
• Start reconnecting. Send e-mail messages, plan events and invite your friends and continue expanding your network.

Not a GAA member? You can receive, accept and/or decline invitations from TarNation. You can also view your TarNation network to view the list of alumni who have contacted you. Join your GAA today for access to all of TarNation, including the ability to invite friends to your network and to send event invitations and e-mails.
