We house our e-newsletter on a web site so we can send out an html version and direct people to the web site for the text version.). We are sending our first monthly all-alumni e-newsletter July 17 to approximately 8,000 recipients. We are using the zip code data pull from the tool to send regionally-specific information for the e-newsletter being sent out. In all, we will send three separate e-mails. All will contain the same stories, but the events will be chapter/region specific. We chose the name @St. Norbert. Currently, we have had two test groups: One test group of 39 people on our Alumni Board. One test group of 309 alumni who volunteer at college events.We have a total of 18,000 alumni at the college, and have been implementing processes internally to correct the e-mail addresses that are invalid. In addition we are starting to use the statistics provided by the reporting to market our Lifelong Learning sessions and other events to alumni.
