Welcome Back Class of 1989

Plan to bring your children to Reunion 2009?  Let them enjoy Camp Clark while you reconnect with classmates!

Camp Clark is a fun and safe way for your children to be part of your reunion weekend.  Clark has contracted with Children’s Conference Care Inc., a leader in child care for reunions and conferences throughout New England, to run Camp Clark, giving your children the opportunity to have their very own Clark experience!  Recreational activities, board games, and arts and crafts will be available and, after viewing an evening video, younger children will have a space to rest or sleep.  Camp Clark is for children ages 3 to 12 and includes meals and snacks.

Camp Clark has a separate registration form and preregistration is strongly encouraged as space is limited. Click here to download the registration form. This is a PDF file.

A NOTE FROM A CLASSMATE

Hey, classmates -

This is Dana Limanni Tarlow ’89. Can you believe 20 years have gone by this fast?! Most days I still feel like I am in college, but maybe that’s because I work for Boston’s rock station WAAF and sports station WEEI. In fact, this month Guster was on Clark’s campus to perform at Spree Day! I am really excited that so many of us have been in touch throughout the years and I hope you have been thinking about joining our class on campus for Reunion. You might even be interested in checking out the brand new Academic Commons at Goddard Library, which is an additional 11,000 square feet of library space.

Our 20th Reunion looks like it’s going to ROCK! The 1989 Reunion committee has been working really hard to make this a great weekend. We know everyone is busy right now, but it’s going to be a great escape. Don’t miss the fun! There’ll be many hits over the weekend including the Spree Day picnic, our class dinner, and Dancing Under the Stars. You’ll even hear familiar tunes at the class dinner on Saturday night ranging from the Bangles and Genesis to Run-DMC and REM.

Take a look at who is already coming to Reunion in the list below. If some of your friends have not registered for Reunion please reach out and invite them to come for an event, Saturday, or the entire weekend. Bring your family and friends or just come alone and reconnect with old Clarkies or find the one you’re looking for. I am hoping to bring my son Drake who will be 23 months in May. He is excited to experience his first Spree Day! Many of us are reconnecting before Reunion. Head to Facebook and search for Clark University Class of 1989 to join the Reunion discussion and find some old friends.

I am counting on you to come back to campus May 15th-17th for Reunion 2009 and to support Clark! Students today need our help to experience the great Clark education we had. Any sized contribution helps! www.clarku.edu/clarkgift
