Halloween, October 2007

It was a small turnout (Mick, Sinead, Noelle, Noelle's friends Judy and Nick, and myself), but we still had fun! We happen to be at The Field on Pub Quiz Night! Though we didn't make the top 3 winning teams, we're convinced we were a close 4th!! The Field has a pub quiz night on the last Tuesday of every month (Nov. 27 is the next one). We had fun and learned a few useless pieces of information at the same time! Thanks to our all star UCD quiz team for a fun Tuesday!

First off, thank you Sinead and Mick for an absolutely fabulous evening last Saturday!  I think I can speak for everyone when I say your home is gorgeous and the food divine!  For those who were unable to attend, Sinead had laid out a fantastic spread of appetizers upon arrival, then lasagna (both meat and vegetarian) for dinner, and we ended the evening with some great deserts brought in by guests.
It was wonderful to see everyone again and meet some new faces!  I hope we can keep our group growing!  If anyone has suggestions for our next event, please let me know and I'll start working on it.  Thanks again to everyone who was able to attend!

UCD Alumni of all years gathered together in San Diego for a "meet and greet" event on March 14.  The event was well attended with graduates  from years 1958 up through 2002.  We met at Karl Strauss Brewery in La Jolla on the outdoor patio for what turned out to be a lovely evening of friendly chats and networking.  The event was well recieved by all.
