Chapters and clubs are formed because alumni have a fondness for Fresno State and want to enhance their relationship with the university and all that it represents. The essence of their unifying spirit exists in the 17 chapters and clubs located throughout the nation. There are three main categories of alumni chapters and clubs - geographic, academic and special interest. Each individual chapter or club sponsors programs, workshops, reunions and activities for their constituents. In addition, the purpose of the alumni chapter or club is to encourage the organized effort of its members to be more knowledgeable and active in the life of Fresno State.
