Nedra Gallegos (1994) has launched a comedy web series called “Off the G.” in association with the Brooklyn Arts Council. Paul George (Alumnus) of the Indiana Pacers was recently selected for his first NBA All-Star Game where he was named the Most Improved Player. He played for the Bulldogs from 2008-10.  Click here for photo

Edward Diener (1968)
Edward Diener (1968) has been named a Distinguished Scientist Award by the American Psychological Association for lifetime achievement in scholarship and research. In 2012, he was presented an Outstanding Alumnus Award by the Fresno State Alumni Association on behalf of the College of Science and Mathematics. Dr. Diener is the Joseph R. Smiley Distinguished Professor of Psychology at the University of Illinois.

Jason Freeman (1995)
Jason Freeman (1995, 1997), center, leads the way as members of the First Congregational Church of Fresno carry a giant rainbow flag along Olive Avenue during the 2013 Rainbow Pride Parade and festival Saturday, June 1, 2013, in Fresno's Tower District. This year's theme was "Hang Ten with the Tides of Change" for the 23rd year for the event to celebrate Fresno's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community, and visitors from all over the Central Valley. Educational News
Marie Caffese (1998)
The Teachers College of San Joaquin is not your average graduate school. It was founded by teachers for teachers, and grew out of a program designed for teacher development through internships. In May, it graduated its second class of 70 students. Marie Burkin-Caffese of Stockton was among the graduates. She worked as a special education teacher at North Valley School in Lodi with emotionally disturbed children and has more than decade of work with that population under her belt.  Click here for photo
