Robert Thissen (1997)
Robert J. Thissen (1997, 2002) works in post-production at Warner Bros. Studios on the hit television series “Hart of Dixie.” He has directed and edited numerous award-winning productions and has also worked for NBC-Universal, Walt Disney Studios, SyFy Channel, Paramount and CBS Studios on various productions. He continues to stay active with Fresno State Alumni Band and received the Norm and Pat Moglia Band Alumni Award at Fresno State Homecoming in 2011.  Click here for photo

Jack Papazian (1922)
Jack Papazian passed away in the month of October. He felt that it was a privilege to go to work every day and do what he loved. Jack was a very philanthropic man and in his own very quiet way, was a generous donor for the underprivileged.

Earl Meyers (1941)
Earl Meyers passed away on October 1, 2014, in Coos Bay, or alongside family members. For several years, he was Fresno's sole African- American physician. Dr. Meyers was elected and
served on Fresno's Board of Freeholders in 1953.

Dee Marlin (1956)
Dee Marlin passed away on October 14, 2014. Dee worked in real estate, insurance, was a financial advisor, a Shriner, and a proud educator.

Kenneth O'Brien (1941)
Kenneth O'Brien passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014. He served as a deacon in the Church of Christ for over 50 years.

Robert Murray (1950)
Robert Wallace Murray, 86, of Fresno died Oct. 5. He was a retired grade school teacher for Fresno Unified.

Olive (Taylor) Conway (1943)
Olive R. Conway, 93, of Fresno died Thursday. She was a retired elementary
school teacher.

Roger George (1975)
Roger George (1975) owns and operated Rogers Guide Service, specializing in striped bass fishing trips to the San Luis Reservoir. Hes also the fishing column editor for The Fresno Bee. As a student, George competed in 10 track events with the Bulldogs and was also a three-time NCAA All American. As a recent grad, he was a member of the 1976 U.S. Olympic Decathlon Team as an alternate for Bruce Jenner.  Click here for photo

James Mechem (1971)
James Mac Mechem (1971) is showcasing his artwork in an exhibit at the Fig Tree Gallery in Fresno through Nov. 2nd. A retired educator, he taught painting at Fresno City College for 26 years, McLane High School for 38 years and Reedley College for 10 years. As a student, Mechem played football for the Bulldogs. Tonantzin (Soto) Rodriguez, MPH (2007) received a Medical Doctorate (MD) from the UC Davis School of Medicine on May 29, 2014. She matched into the Sutter Family Medicine Residency Program in Sacramento, California for further training in primary care.  Click here for photo

Anthony R. Grieco (1961) has been honored with having his name added as a Friend to the National Air and Space Museum's Wall of Honor at the at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virg. He has more than 40 years of experience in the Electronic Warfare field with the Office of the Secretary of Defense and with the U.S. Navy. Amanda (Holder) Leath (1999)
James Leath (2008) and Amanda (Holder) Leath (1999) recently competed in their first all-natural physique competition in Fresno, CA. James placed fourth in men's physique and Amanda placed third in women's figure. They are currently enjoying training for their next competition later this year.  Click here for photo
