The FSAA Continues $100,000 Scholarship Commitment
The FSAA Board of Directors approved the decision to maintain the scholarship giving level of $100,000 for the funding year of 2009/2010 despite the harsh economic times. This level of giving continues the FSAA’s run as the leader of the 23-campus CSU alumni associations in student scholarship awarded.
Board member Lauren Chalmers reflects on her service to the FSAA, "Being a part of the FSAA has been an great opportunity for me to give back to my alma mater, most important by helping students fulfill their education mission through contributing to scholarships and volunteering my time to serve the University. My experience as an alumnae has also helped me see the equity of a Fresno State degree."
