BC Atlanta National Day of Service
The National Day of Service unites Boston College alumni across the country in the spirit of "men and women for others." The Jesuit commitment to service helps define the BC experience, and the annual event gives alumni a chance to reconnect with fellow BC graduates while making a difference in their communities. Discovery Program at Park Lane Elementary School

Park Lane Elementary Discovery is a Saturday morning tutoring program that offers one-on-one and small group enrichment activities for at-risk children. Volunteers lead activities and help with reading and math skills for students in kindergarten through 5th grades.

It is our annual tradition to wrap gifts for the Children's Restoration Network. Toys for Tots and CRN partner together to provide Christmas gifts for the underprivileged children of Atlanta. Please join Boston College alumni, friends, and fans in cheering on the Eagles as they battle the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The BC Atlanta Chapter invites you to a pregame tailgate on Georgia Tech campus just a short walk to Bobby Dodd Stadium 2 hours prior to kick-off, be sure to check your local listings for up to date kick-off times.
Pregame tailgate includes game ticket, food, dessert & beverages (soda, water, beer) and plenty of BC cheer.

Hands on Atlanta – Discovery Program
Boyd Elementary School
1891 Johnson Road NW, Atlanta, Ga.
Age Minimum: 16 -17 (with Adult); otherwise, open to all adults.
Final details and directions will be provided the week prior to the event.
The Discovery Program is a two hour tutorial program for
elementary school students. They are paired one-on-one with volunteers who act
as tutors and mentors and guide them through the predetermined lessons
for the day. The subjects covered are reading, math, and science; no
expertise is required from the volunteers.
