Wreaths Across America
Saturday, December 15, 2012
Arlington National Cemetery Amphitheater
This is truly an unique event to our area (at least in the magnitude of Arlington Cemetery) and one which you'll not soon forget! It is a great way to honor our nation's fallen soldiers and military families who have been laid to rest on the slopes which overlook the Potomac and our nation's capital. This is also an opportunity to join fellow BC Alums in celebration of this tribute to these heroes/ heroines, whose graves you will visit. Brian'82 and Patty'81 Cummins will lead you through the cemetery and you will have the opportunity to visit several grave sites of former BC Alumni, and you may want to visit those of family or friends on your own.
Parking: given the problems with Metro in previous years...you might want to try parking at Ft. Myers (adjacent to the cemetery), but arrive early to get ahead of the crowd, thousands will attend this event. Look for the BC banner!
