Birmingham Clergy Affinity Group

On March 31, 2008, the Clergy Affinity Group gathered at Highlands UMC to enjoy a casual dinner and conversation.  Group leader Mike Harper invited everyone to join in prayer and give thanks for the food and company present that evening.  All guests formally introduced themselves to the group, and new friends were made.  Sister Helen Prejean joined us for the end of dinner before making her presentation to our group and the rest of the community.  Her presentation Questioning the Death Penalty was both informative and inspiring.  BSC would like to thank all of our guests for joining us for dinner and Sister Helen Prejean's presentation.  We hope to have even more people in attendance at our next Clergy Affinity Group event!
