Welcome to
the WAAAUB Greater Washington, DC Chapter website.
Our chapter
includes the following regions: Suburban Maryland, Northern Virginia and
Washington, DC. The chapter was established on March 22nd, 1956 making it the
oldest continuously running Alumni chapter in North America! The chapter
includes more than 900 members and friends of AUB.
The First
President was H.E. Dr. Charles W. Hostler (MA 1955) who recently named the
Charles Hostler Student Center at AUB. The late Dr. Zekin Shakhashiri (BA 1931,
MA 1934, MD 1938), President 1963 – 1977, longest sitting President.
