CU at the Capitol.
Be one of the University of Colorado's most influential advocates as we work together to keep higher education a priority in Colorado.
CU Advocacy Day at the Capitol will help better prepare you to promote the university's educational, research and economic contributions, as well as raise awareness about the state's and CU's funding challenges.
You will learn about:
- Funding trends for public higher education
- Higher education economic development
- Legislative priorities
- How to advocate and work with legislators
Special guests speakers:
Lt. Gov. Joseph Garcia, (CU-Boulder '79)
Natalie Mullis, (CU-Boulder '94, '98), chief economist, Colorado Legislative Council Staff
This program will provide the information you need to help influence public opinion about CU and higher education.
Please join us after the forum for an advocacy lunch reception with CU President Benson, the campus chancellors and elected officials.
This event is hosted by the Office of Government Relations and CU Advocates Program in the Office of the President.
