Diary of a D.C. Sniper published by Atlanta alumnus
Anthony Meoli, M.A., J.D., CFC has published The Diary of the D.C. Sniper.
In the book, Meoli, a 2011 Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology graduate
of Argosy University, Atlanta, presents a verbatim transcript of the diary
of convicted serial murderer Lee Boyd Malvo.
“After years of written correspondence and over fifty hours of recorded
telephone calls, Malvo decided it was time to tell his side of the story to
the world,” says Meoli. The diary, “explains the details of his life which
have never been fully known. It would be a combination of traumatic life
events that would become the catalysts of change, eventually leading
him to choose a path from which there was no return.” It provides
incredible insight for readers into the long-term effects of childhood
neglect, physical abuse, psychological distress and parental abandonment.
