Tuesday, December 16: On the Menu at Scofield Manor Christmas Spirit in Abundance
On Tuesday, December 16 the Yale Club of Lower Fairfield County sponsored a roast beef Christmas lunch for residents of Scofield Manor, an assisted living residential care home in Stamford, CT. Notable among the guests was an octogenarian newlywed couple who had recently eloped from a nursing home in a neighboring town. A rousing round of Christmas carols led by our president Ed Greenberg, accompanied by Joe Holmes on the keyboard, brought abundant holiday spirit to the occasion.
